GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) in Nursing is a 3-years long diploma program in which a student learns about the basic knowledge of nursing, first-aid and midwifery. They learn theoretical as well as practical aspects of nursing. It is a job oriented course that can be pursued by students who have completed 10+2 (Science stream, with PCB subjects) from a recognized board. The demand for Nursing is not only in hospitals and mental health centers, even in public health departments & businesses in public schools also. Due to this rapid increase in nurse's demand, there is a huge increase in the nursing course also.
